On May 22, Huayan Robotics partnered with global industrial sensing and control technology leader Keyence to host their first joint Customer Open Day in Shenzhen under the theme “Dual-Core Synergy: When China Speed Meets Global Precision.”
The event focused on key topics including overseas manufacturing expansion and intelligent manufacturing upgrades, while showcasing high-precision vision inspection solutions and products that combine the core strengths of both companies. Mr. Wang Guangneng, CEO of Huayan Robotics, attended alongside heads of Keyence’s precision measurement, vision systems, and sensor divisions. The event attracted nearly 100 industry professionals and partners.
During the opening remarks, executives from both companies emphasized that Chinese manufacturing is accelerating its global expansion. They noted that the collaboration between Huayan Robotics and Keyence represents a powerful integration of high-precision, high-reliability robotics with world-leading sensing and measurement technologies. One of the highlights of the event was the joint high-precision robotic vision inspection solution developed by the two companies. The system combines Huayan’s highly accurate and flexible robotic “hands” with Keyence’s advanced flying laser scanning technology as intelligent “eyes,” creating a fully integrated hand-eye inspection unit.
With a single system, users can efficiently perform 3D dimensional measurement, 3D surface defect inspection, and complex workpiece recognition and classification. The solution offers significant value for industrial applications that demand exceptional precision, efficiency, and flexibility.
Hao Yu, who leads AI development at Huayan Robotics,also shared the company’s latest advancements in AI and embodied intelligence technologies for robotic vision applications. Huayan has achieved deep integration between high-precision vision modules and its robotic platforms, enabling support for 2D, 3D, and AI-powered algorithms across different robot series to handle complex positioning, inspection, and identification tasks.
Among the showcased applications was a cross-regional mobile robotic work unit built on Huayan collaborative robots. Equipped with 2.5D high-precision vision algorithms, the system can effectively eliminate motion-related errors and achieve interference-resistant, cost-efficient sub-millimeter end-positioning accuracy. This solution demonstrates strong potential in semiconductor and electronics applications such as wafer and chip handling, packaging and bonding, CNC loading and unloading, and high-precision insertion and extraction tasks.
Hao Yu also noted that embodied intelligence is reshaping traditional robotic operations by giving robots autonomous perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities, making it a key trend for highly intelligent and flexible manufacturing lines.
Huayan Robotics’ self-developed XFlexMind embodied intelligence platform integrates the full workflow from data collection and governance to model training and deployment, enabling manufacturers to rapidly build intelligent production lines worldwide and truly realize “Chinese Technology, Globally Replicable Manufacturing.”

Applications include battery cell stacking, pre- and post-welding cleaning, 3D inspection, 3D assembly, battery module screw fastening, battery pack plug-in and pull-out testing, and battery tray flying inspection, helping battery manufacturers pursue near-zero defects and higher production yields.
