METALEX 2025, one of Southeast Asia’s leading exhibitions for metalworking and intelligent manufacturing, was held from November 19–22 at the BITEC Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Huayan Robotics (Booth AK07, Hall 98) showcased its collaborative robot solutions for welding, CNC machining, and other industrial applications, drawing significant attention from visitors across the region.

At the exhibition, Huayan Robotics presented a CNC automated loading and unloading solution powered by its E05 High-Speed collaborative robot. The system demonstrated a 50% increase in overall operating speed, becoming a highlight of the show. Newly launched this year, the E05 High-Speed model features comprehensive upgrades in motors and algorithms, meeting manufacturers’ growing demands for higher efficiency and stability while helping improve both productivity and quality.
Huayan Robotics remains among the leading brands in domestic shipments of collaborative welding robot bodies. Its Elfin-Pro series has built strong application advantages in welding, offering high precision, extended reach, smooth force-guided operation, and user-friendly control.
The E12-Pro collaborative robot, for example, features an ultra-long 1.8-meter reach, allowing it to access distant workpoints without repositioning. This makes it particularly suitable for welding large-scale workpieces. Today, Huayan’s collaborative welding robots are widely used across industries such as shipbuilding, steel structure construction, bridge engineering, and hardware manufacturing.
Interactive demonstrations of the Elfin-Pro series drew strong interest, showcasing flexible drag and drop teaching enabled by integrated end-of-arm force control. With less than 5N of force, users can achieve smooth teaching, improving efficiency across applications such as welding, polishing, spraying, and rehabilitation.
METALEX 2025 is the largest and most influential machine tool and metalworking exhibition in Southeast Asia. During the event, manufacturing professionals from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other ASEAN countries engaged in in-depth discussions with Huayan Robotics, exploring the deployment potential of collaborative robots in welding, material handling, loading and unloading, spraying, and assembly.
